Program

J1 : Étançons valley :
From La Bérarde, we walk up the sunny Étançons valley under the golden gaze of the beautiful south face of La Meije. Perched on its flanks, the aptly named Promontoire hut will welcome us for a panoramic evening.

J2 : Traverse via the Brèche de la Meije - Homme glacier :
An early start towards the Brèche de la Meije, the gateway to the winding Meije glacier, where a route beneath the overwhelming north face leads us to the foot of the Serret du Savon couloir, the key passage towards the sun and the Aigle hut. Finally, the Homme glacier offers a unique descent through an exceptional glacial environment back down to the valley.
