The mountains are a natural environment with risks, in which guides work to minimise them thanks to their experience, professionalism and the means they employ. It is nevertheless important to be aware that they cannot guarantee 100% safety because of the objective dangers specific to this environment, such as rockfall, serac fall, avalanches, crevasses, weather hazards...
The guide will see to the safety requirements to be applied in the field. A client's deliberate failure to respect the guide's safety decisions may lead to the outing being stopped without compensation.
The guide is also an adviser who will help you progress.
All participants must hold insurance covering civil liability, repatriation, search and rescue costs and medical expenses for the activities concerned. If needed, you can turn to the national federations (FFCAM, FFME).
So that outings take place in the best possible conditions, we ask you to tell us about any particular health problem (allergies, asthma, heart problems...).
The success of a mountain outing depends on many factors coming together (snow and weather, physical, technical, psychological...). If for one reason or another the initial objective of the day has not been reached, the guide's fees may be due in full or in part. The conditions will be clearly set out during the briefing before each outing.
However, please note that during an outing, any change of programme due to factors beyond the guide's control cannot give rise to a refund (sudden change in snow or weather conditions, insufficient technical and/or physical level of the client...).
A deposit of 30% of the price of the service will be requested to book the dates. It will be cashed and deducted from the price of the service.
If you cancel:
If a departure is not confirmed, the guide will offer you one or more alternatives to choose from or, more rarely, the complete cancellation of the outing.
If the guide cancels, your deposit will be returned.

For your enjoyment and safety, outings in small groups are preferred. This way of working allows careful listening to your wishes in order to design the best possible programme.
It is also an opportunity to progress together by analysing, if you wish, a few technical aspects.
Each outing is preceded by a briefing describing as precisely as possible how the outing is planned. It is an opportunity to get to know each other better and to discuss the logistical and safety aspects of the outing.
These different aspects go beyond simple guiding in the field: they add a qualitative intention to match your wishes and build a tailor-made outing, in the manner of a mountain craftsman.
