Vallée Blanche & Col d'Entrèves
The famous Vallée Blanche off the beaten track.
France > Mont Blanc > col d'Entrèves (3527m)
Program
The Vallée Blanche is a legendary off-piste descent in the heart of the high mountains.
From the Aiguille du Midi, walking down the knife-edge ridge carefully leads us onto the Géant glacier, where we put on our skis and glide down facing Mont Blanc du Tacul to the junction with the Combe Maudite. A 400m climb, which lets us admire the majestic Grand Capucin, the north face of the Tour Ronde and the line of the Kuffner ridge, takes us to the Col d'Entrèves. The view of the wild Italian side of Mont Blanc is magnificent and deserves a long contemplative break. The icing on the cake: the descent then promises to be quieter than the classic route, usually with beautiful powder snow!↑ 400m ↓ 3200m
