Powder in the Chartreuse

Wild and unusual loops in the heart of the Chartreuse. To be savoured on big powder days!

France > Chartreuse > Rochers de Chalves (1845m)

Program

The Chartreuse, the first obstacle for weather systems coming from the west, is one of the wettest massifs in France. When the winter is cold enough, the precipitation falls as snow and the Chartreuse becomes a unique reservoir of powder!

There are many loops full of character, away from the crowds, offering a great variety of landscapes together with beautiful descents.
